Karthur is Brighton-based Custom Build Designer and student at The NESTT (Noki Education of Sustainable Textiles & Technology). Working in second-life metals and textiles to form subversive, sustainable wearables.

 

 

Building from pre-existing commodities to create a landfill-drop, Karthur’s work is influenced by the teachings of his mentor NOKI “The Custom Build is the Gold Standard of Sustainability.” Other influences include Judy Blame/The House of Beauty and Culture, and Kalle Lasn’s “Culture Jam”.
