Malik is an eyewear artist based in NYC and LA who works with mix media in creating conceptual eye pieces. Malik’s design process starts inspiration from locations and experiences that can range from a trip in the desert to the way the sun sets over the water. Malik uses 3-D printing, acetate, resin, used eyewear parts to create her pieces. She is also obsessed with nails and works closely with @samyamalik (LA based nail artist) and @unitas_f3ass (NYC based nail artist) in designing matching matching nails for most of the eyewear pieces. In 2019 she won the @safilo eyewear partnership award where she received a grant for her creations and continues to make unique one off creations till this day and hopes to have a gallery showing in the future.
