Closing the gap between what is conventionally deemed as rubbish/throwaway and what is a beautiful/hand crafted piece of work. Katy makes jewellery with a sculptural eye and technique -  finding a place between what is art and what can be worn, with an aim to building up and elevating what the eye is trained to see as worthless; in turn using objects as a voice for change and a new way of looking at fashion products.
